Our native place in Odisha sits in a semi-arid plateau...so, acacia species thrived well there..
As a kid, we used to love their yellow blooms...and used to marvel at the coiled inedible fruits..
The fruits used to create foam in contact with water...which was surprising at that time..
Now, I know, they are because of saponin..
